Kite Packaging’s South East Branch Donate To Teens Unite

The growing company has donated £7,000 to employee-nominated charities

After introducing its new philanthropy programme across all of its regional branches last year, Kite Packaging has presented cheques to seven charities, totalling £7,000.

With seven sites located across the UK, Kite employees from each site were given the opportunity to nominate a charity to become their ‘Charity of the Year’ as part of the companies CSR agenda. Within each branch, the most nominated charity received a £1,000 donation. Each Kite branch plans to continue fundraising for charities throughout the year, with internal fundraising activities and individual support from employees.

Kite Packaging’s South East Branch, were delighted to donate £1,000 in support of Teens Unite as selected by one of the branch’s employees as their worthy charity.

Teens Unite support at a crucial time in the lives of teenagers who have had to take time out of school, work, college or university to have their treatment. The charity remains the only charity in the country that provides help for teens at this time. Debbie and Karen both still head up the team and ensure that the unique, small, personal ethos is maintained to make the teens feel part of the Teens Unite family.
