In an effort to reduce the environmental impact of packaging Kite has developed Envirobox, a new range of single wall cardboard boxes.
The Envirobox has been independently tested by PIRA and proven to outperform a standard double wall equivalent.
Other less obvious benefits include a 5% reduction in material that potentially goes to landfill and a 30% reduction in CO2 emissions through transport efficiencies.
In addition to Kite's stock range, most of which are multi-depth, Envirobox can be used for bespoke cartons.

MULTI-DEPTH BOXES
Most boxes, including Kite's stock range, are available with variable depth. This allows a single size carton to meet a variety of needs.
PALLET BOXES
These are a composite pack with a bottom tray mounted on a timber pallet, together with a sleeve and cap.
Pallet boxes are designed as a strong reliable protective means of shipping for heavy or bulky items or for collating bulk packs of smaller items.
Pallet boxes are supplied 'flat' for ease of storage.

SPECIALIST PAPERS
Papers can be used to protect goods in transit ranging from basic dust protection through to limiting the impact of extreme climatic conditions.
Common protective papers include:

* corrosion inhibitors (VCI)
* kraft union (bitumen laminated)
