Kite Packaging Scotland acquires Packaging Cases Ltd (Scotland)
As part of its growth strategy Kite has acquired the business of Packaging Cases Ltd (formerly Packaging Scotland). The business will trade as Kite Packaging Scotland under Mike McCole and continue to operate from Cumbernauld, ideally located for servicing the Glasgow - Edinburgh belt.
Kite Packaging Scotland will continue to focus on major customers and will benefit from Kite's financial strength, supply chain, Enviroproduct range, preferred supplier relationships and innovative solutions capacity.
Founded in 2001, Kite Packaging is an employee-owned packaging distribution business operating from 6 sites throughout the UK.
Kite has grown from a standing start to become one of the largest packaging distributors in the U.K. market. Kite is looking to grow its business further, through a combination of organic growth from its existing operations, acquisitions as well as the launch of its branch expansion programme in June.
Kite's success has been its clear market focus on large users of packaging who require mainly bespoke product.
