VCI Pallet Wrap
Transporting ferrous materials can be difficult due to the potential damage caused by moisture. However, our VCI pallet wrap provides the protection your items need. Made from high quality volatile corrosion inhibiting material, VCI stretch wrap is ideal for securing engineering materials and components.
Iron, cast iron and steel items can be damaged by rust if they are not stored and dispatched with care, so we recommend VCI pallet wrap film for all such applications. Our hand stretch rolls are available in both 23 and 30 micron sizes, and we offer attractive price breaks for larger orders.
VCI Pallet Wrap from Kite Packaging is ideal for stretch-wrapping engineering components
made from ferrous metals (iron / cast iron / steel). This thick stretch film can
easily be applied by hand or using our pallet wrap dispenser.
Protect From Rust
Metal parts are prone to corrosion when moisture in the air interacts with molecules
on exposed surfaces. Specialist packaging containing Volatile Corrosion Inhibiting
chemicals can prevent damage caused by this. They release an invisible vapour that
coats the metal item and stops oxidation from occurring. It is recommended that the
item is thoroughly stretch wrapped to ensure that the VCI protection is effective.
Once unwrapped, the harmless chemicals evaporate without leaving a residue.
VCI pallet wrap is available in both 23 micron and 30 micron thick rolls, it is
yellow in appearance.
