How do you save 110 million trees from the chop?
Answer: You switch to Enviro-box. Enviro-box is a major breakthrough in the packaging industry which looks set not just to save those trees, but to change the face of UK industry too.
How? Because Enviro-box is made from a heavier duty single wall box as opposed to traditional double wall cartons.
It was developed by leading packaging specialist Kite in conjunction with the Waste Resources Action Programme (WRAP). Kite’s challenge was to come up with a single wall carton which was as strong and robust as a double wall. Now, a six month trial among selected Kite customers has given Enviro-box the seal of approval.
And Enviro-box wouldn’t just save those trees - not needed to make 8.5 tonnes of paper pulp - it would cut cardboard waste going to landfill by 5,800 tonnes and save nearly 3 million tonnes of wood for pallets.
And all without compromising the box strength and performance. It’s packaging that doesn’t cost the earth.
