Kite Packaging Wins Plimsoll Award for Outstanding Company 2013

Kite Packaging Group LTD have been named ‘outstanding’ by market and company analytics company Plimsoll Publishing LTD

One of the UK’s leading packaging suppliers, Kite Packaging, has been given the accolade of ‘Outstanding Company’ by the financial analytics and reporting giant Plimsoll Publishing LTD. The award was a result of Plimsoll’s latest analysis of annual business accounts. Kite was awarded alongside companies such as Moonpig.com and Rapesco Office Products LTD.

The Plimsoll Outstanding Company Awards are presented to a select number of companies, across a range of industry sectors, who have improved their overall financial performance. This is measured by Plimsoll’s financial health assessment which looks at overall performance as well as solid sales growth, something Kite Packaging has shown on a year-on-year basis.

The award marks yet another success for Kite, who began in 2001 with a small number of employees and their own investment. Since then the employee-owned company has seen rapid growth, with sites in 7 locations across the UK, a successful online business and packaging regulations compliance schemes – as well as several awards including the Eaton Premier Supplier Award and Mars Gold Award in 2012.
