This opportunity is for the role of Marketing Assistant in one of the UK’s leading and fastest growing B2B packaging suppliers. Kite Packaging is an employee-owned business with ferociously ambitious growth plans. We operate the UK’s largest packaging ecommerce website.

You will be joining an established, profitable, growing technology-backed business and will be part of an industry leading team. This is an opportunity for a highly motivated individual who wants to develop their skills and experience in marketing and learn from some of the best people in the business.

As a Marketing Assistant working in Kite Packaging’s online division in Coventry you will be exposed to the forefront of the business. Kites’ marketing, analytics and technical teams foster a culture of shared experience and work in a collaborative, like-minded team environment. The role is perfect for someone looking to start a career in marketing and develop their skills, experience, and exposure to all aspects of business-to-business marketing strategy. You will work as part of the marketing team on a range of day-to-day tasks as well as large scale projects. The role involves interaction with a range of other departments as well as, from time-to-time, the opportunity to work alongside senior management.

The marketing team works on a range of marketing activity including: -

  • Media advertising
  • Direct mailing
  • Brand advertising
  • Editorial publishing
  • Trade exhibitions
  • Search engine optimisation (SEO)
  • Email marketing
  • Social media
  • Liaising with 3rd party media partners

The ideal candidate will possess some experience in marketing or have a related qualification. The role of Marketing Assistant requires someone with a strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. The role will require you to work as part of wider teams on a variety of projects, so it is important that you are keen to develop your skills to suit the business’s needs.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be highly organised
  • Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Have an ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Having an interest or background in graphic design would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Working Hours: Full-time.
