About the Role

We are looking for a data-driven and curious UX & Digital Insights Analyst to uncover opportunities that strengthen our website experience & improve user journeys. Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working closely with the wider digital and ecommerce team, this role blends analytics, UX research, competitor insights, and user-testing analysis to drive measurable improvements to our online performance.

You’ll use GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, Google Ads, our internal company data, and user-testing tools to understand behaviour, identify friction points, and provide clear recommendations that help improve conversion, engagement and customer satisfaction.

The role of Digital Insights Analyst:

In this role, you will be responsible for the following key areas:.

Digital Analytics:

  • Analyse website performance using GA4, Search Console, Google Ads and internal data sources.
  • Identify high-performing pages, underperforming journeys and revenue-critical “money pages”.
  • Monitor conversion funnels, bounce-points and user flow patterns to spot opportunities.

UX Research & User Testing:

  • Create user-testing scripts based on specific site tasks or journeys.
  • Watch and interpret recordings to identify pain points, blockers and improvement ideas.
  • Translate qualitative feedback into prioritised UX recommendations.

Competitor Insights:

  • Conduct competitor reviews focusing on pricing, structure, features and overall user experience.
  • Benchmark our site against known competitors to spot strengths, weaknesses and gaps.

Reporting & Visualisation:

  • Build dashboards and reports - ideally in Power BI - to present findings clearly.
  • Communicate insights to marketing, data and key stakeholders in a practical, actionable format.

Optimisation & Collaboration:

  • Work with key stakeholders to suggest UX, layout and content improvements.
  • Feed into CRO (conversion rate optimisation) projects and track the impact of implemented changes.
  • Support the wider ecommerce and marketing teams by supplying data-backed recommendations.
Key Skills and Essential Experience:

The ideal candiate will have the following:

  • Analytics Tools: Experience with GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console and Google Ads.
  • UX Research: Comfortable analysing user testing videos and summarising behavioural insights.
  • Data Skills: Confident working with data; Power BI experience is highly advantageous.
  • Commercial Awareness: Ability to identify pages that drive revenue and understand funnel logic.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot patterns and anomalies.
  • Communication: Able to turn data and observations into clear, concise recommendations.
  • Experience: Awareness of UX, digital analytics & CRO is beneficial.
