Graduate Commercial Analyst

Kite Packaging have a brilliant opportunity for a Graduate Commercial Analyst to join their North East team. Kite Packaging was founded in 2001 with a unique vision and a philosophy of employee-ownership. You will be joining an established, profitable, growing technology-backed business and will be part of a fantastic team based in North East.

We seek a dynamic, commercially strong individual who can thrive in a pressurised and fast-moving environment. Perhaps at the start of their career, we are looking for a driven individual with a strong commercial instinct. Ideally the candidate will understand distribution, purchasing and supply chains.

The role of Commercial Analyst:

The role will specifically cover the following areas:

• Sourcing a wide range of packaging products from new and existing suppliers
• Develop supplier relationships and negotiating rebate schemes
• Manage the tender process, working alongside the external sales team
• Closely interact with senior management to construct and deliver commercial documents
• Quick and accurate turnaround on quotation requests
• Monitor margin analysis reports with a view to increasing sales and/or profitability
• Entrepreneurial flair and ability to think outside the box
• Desire to grow and contribute to a rapidly expanding operation
