Kite Packaging have a brilliant opportunity for a Graduate Buyer to join their Swindon team. Kite Packaging was founded in 2001 with a unique vision and a philosophy of employee-ownership. We seek a dynamic, commercially strong individual who can thrive in a pressurised and fast-moving environment. Perhaps at the start of their career, we are looking for a driven individual with a strong commercial instinct. Ideally the candidate will understand distribution, purchasing and supply chains.
The role of Graduate Buyer:
The role will specifically cover the following areas:
- Managing stock levels in conjunction with Internal Account Managers
- Keeping track of and expediting purchase orders
- Placing orders, and day to day dealing with suppliers
- Processing enquires to exacting customer requirements in conjunction with account managers
- Supporting the internal team with effective account management
Key Skills and Essential Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following key skills:
- Have experience within a commercial or purchasing environment
- Be highly motivated and proactive
- Have excellent communication skills
- Possess commercial awareness and entrepreneurial flair
- Have experience of distribution/purchasing/supply chains/imports
