When packaging machinery breaks down or isn't performing as it should, it can quickly disrupt your packing and dispatch operations. Our engineering call-out service helps identify faults, minimise downtime and get your equipment back up and running.
We provide call-out support for a range of packaging equipment, including:
- Pallet wrapping machines
- Air cushion machines
- Strapping machines
- Shredders
- Case taping machines
We'll start with an initial telephone assessment to understand the problem before arranging an engineer visit where required. Once on site, our engineer will diagnose mechanical or electrical faults and carry out minor adjustments, resets and operational testing where appropriate.
Pallet wrapping machine brands we support
Our engineers can work on pallet wrapping machines from a wide range of manufacturers, including Robopac, Siat, C&C Group (IBIS), Cyklop, Omegatech, Spinny, Signode, Noxon, Lantech, Orion, Fromm, Youngsunpack and Extend.
We also provide engineering support for air cushion machines, strapping machines, shredders and case taping machines. If you need assistance with a particular make or model, get in touch and our team can advise whether we can help.
What happens if further repairs are needed?
If your machine requires additional labour or replacement parts, we'll explain the work needed and provide a quotation before proceeding.
Replacement parts and further repair work are not included in the initial call-out charge. Any additional work or parts must be approved before they are supplied or completed.
While our engineers will work to resolve the fault during the visit wherever possible, more complex repairs may require additional work, replacement parts or a return visit.
Common Robopac pallet wrapper errors
The following fault codes relate specifically to Robopac pallet wrapping machines. Refer to your machine's instructions, as error codes and recommended actions may vary by model.

| 2 Flashes on a Robopac Ecoplat | Robopac Ecoplat | The emergency plate at the bottom of the carriage is triggered. Release the plate and reset the machine. |
| 3 Flashes on a Robopac Ecoplat | Robopac Ecoplat | There is a motor overload. Remove the cause of the overload. This may be because the chain has come off the turntable sprocket, the carriage has impacted the floor and the micro switch has not activated, or the carriage has gone too high. Turn the machine off and then restart. |
| 4 Flashes on a Robopac Ecoplat | Robopac Ecoplat | Table movement error. A fault or obstacle is preventing table movement. Clear the fault or obstacle, turn the machine off and then restart. |
| 5 Flashes on a Robopac Ecoplat | Robopac Ecoplat | Film breakage detected. Reattach the film and reset the machine. Applies with R-Connect and film monitoring. |

Call-out prices start from £320 excluding VAT.
Our call-out service includes an initial telephone fault assessment, up to one hour of total travel time and the first hour of on-site labour. This covers fault diagnosis, minor adjustments, resets and operational testing where appropriate.
Travel or on-site labour exceeding the included allowance will be charged separately. Where possible, we’ll explain any anticipated additional charges before the engineer visits.
