Pallet stacking frame
Our pallet stacking frame offers a safe, low-cost way of stacking palletised loads of valuable, soft or oddly shaped goods. It keeps goods clear and protected at the top of a pallet. Also great for times when the pallet below simply can’t bear the full load.
Use the frame to increase pallet capacity without ever changing pallet footprint – perfect for logistics and supply chains. Always strap stacked pallets at the lower and upper level to prevent shifting, or lock in place with pallets either side.
Free up valuable floor space by using the frames as temporary shelving. Stack vertically in busy warehouses and fold away compactly when not in use. Or place a pallet at the bottom and a board on top to make a makeshift packing station during peak periods.
Key features:

FAQs
What is the correct way to stack pallets?
Start with a good base by checking the bottom pallet’s condition and capacity. Unfold the frame’s legs and stand it upright. Position the frame over the pallet, aligning each corner of the pallet with the slots at the base of the legs. Lower the frame so that each corner slots into the notches at the bottom of each leg. This will lock the frame and pallet together for stability. Now you can place the second pallet on top. Align the upper pallet with the notches in each corner of the frame and slot into place. Repeat again if needed.
Ensure you centre loads, and keep weight evenly distributed on pallets.
When adding the top pallet, strap the back of the upper level to the frame. Where possible, lock the stack with pallets either side. Avoid overhanging loads and check stability before moving or storing.
What is the highest a pallet can be stacked?
With Kite’s pallet stacking frames, you can stack two or three levels high provided the top is secured. Outside this pallet stacking pattern, it depends on load stability, pallet strength, ceiling and racking limits. Site safety rules also come into play. Always do a risk assessment and when in doubt, keep stacks lower and secured.
How much weight can you stack on a pallet?
It depends on the pallet type and condition. For the Kite frame, the working guideline is a maximum of 800kg per pallet. If you plan to stack multiple levels, make sure to evenly distribute the weight. When moving or storing heavy stacks, always confirm pallet load bearing capacity and use straps or additional restraints.
