Introducing the Kite App and its Features

Since our founding in 2001, we have always endeavoured to give our customers the best service we possibly can. The next step in doing this was developing an app to improve our service offering. So that’s exactly what we’ve gone ahead and done – and we’ve been dying to share the news with you since getting to work on it behind the scenes!

If you’re a Kite Packaging credit account customer, you will be pleased to know browsing, buying and reordering your packaging just got easier. 

Our app, which runs on all mobile devices, is designed to make the experience of purchasing packaging a notably smoother and faster transaction for our credit account customers. Simply sign in using your existing customer order portal login details and you’re in. You’ll have access to your personalised product section, full order history, a quick scan feature and much more. 

The app boasts an array of functions to bring you a convenient shopping experience wherever you are, whether that’s from the comfort of your sofa or while you’re at work, our goods and services are available around-the-clock and as conveniently as at your fingertips – no need to switch your computer or laptop on!

Search for products with ease and get instant results using the quick scan feature in ‘Home’. The scanner reads product barcodes using the camera application on your mobile device and yields the corresponding results in a matter of seconds, aiding a significantly faster process when it comes to ordering and reordering. You no longer have to trawl through a list of search results to find exactly what you’re looking for and the chance of ordering the wrong items by human error is also eliminated. 

You scan the barcodes on our packaging or choose to print them out using our customer order portal. Once printed, you can use your mobile device to scan and order away, saving both time and money. 

You can also access your entire order history in ‘Orders’, with an exact break down of the items ordered and the quantity in units and packs. This can be filtered by date to make searching for particular orders easier.

Delivery details are automatically filled in using information from our customer order portal and if you need to leave specific instructions regarding the delivery of your order, you can do that too. 

You have your own dedicated product section, listing both your bespoke products and your standard products at your contracted prices. Recently ordered items sit at the top. Here, you can filter by part number and description to easily find the products you’re looking for. 

If you’re running low on boxes but forgot to put an order in for them at work, it’s not a problem at all. No need to wait until the next day when you’re at work again. With our app, you can access your products and place orders no matter where you are. Day saved!

All purchases are processed through our secure servers and if you want to explore new packaging, head over to our website where you’ll have over 2,500 products to choose from. 

Our app provides easy and fast ordering functionality, a personalised experience, and round-the-clock access to our services all from the convenience of your phone. What’s not to like!
