Children with Cancer UK nominated as our Portsmouth RDC’S 2020 charity and receives £1,000

Our Portsmouth Regional Distribution Centre has donated an applaudable £1,000 to Children with Cancer UK.

Children with Cancer UK was set up in 1988 by parents Eddie and Marion O’Gorman who had sadly lost two children to cancer, and since then they have raised over £250 million to help the fight against childhood cancer. Their vision is a world where every child survives cancer, with a mission to improve survival rates across all types of childhood cancer and support children and their families to live better with and after treatment.

A spokesperson from the charity commented “Thank you for your most generous gift of £1,000 and for your continued support. Due to uncertainties with the coronavirus pandemic, we are especially grateful for your kind support.”
