How can you use recycled materials to get creative this festive season?
With Christmas fast approaching it is no surprise that many of us are getting into the swing of all things festive. But we don’t want to forget the environment at this joyous time of year and it's great if we can look to re-using products or use products that are more environmentally friendly when looking to get creative, also by using pre-loved materials, or materials we find around the house we can save money.
It’s always great to see creations made with leftover packaging, particularly when it's related to Christmas and for the enjoyment and imagination of children. This gingerbread house that we came across in the Metro is a great idea for children and looks so simple to make, the lady claims she used, recycled cardboard boxes, leftover toilet roll tubes, paper plates and a few other things she found lying around the house to decorate. So if you are planning on making anything this Christmas and if you need a bit of help with being creative, check out the following link from the metro.co.uk. https://metro.co.uk/2019/11/13/mum-makes-daughter-gingerbread-playhouse-free-using-recycled-materials-11088273/
