Kite Packaging launch range of removal kits

As specialists in the packaging industry Kite want to take away some of the stress that comes with house moving

Moving property is said to be one of the key stressful times that is experienced in many people’s lives. Whether you are moving house, flat or office Kite want to support you in making the task as stress-free as possible.

A survey carried out by the Express in April 2015 found that almost two in three (61%) placed moving house at the top of their stress list in a poll of 2,000 adults who had moved home. With the average Briton moving home five times during their lifetime and with the stress said to last more than three months, as found by EON, it is key that every step possible is taken to reduce unnecessary stress.

As one of the UK’s leading packaging distributors, Kite Packaging have launched a range of house removal kits, available in ‘starter kits’ or a kit for a ‘1’, ‘2/3’ or ‘4 bedroom’ house.

The kits have been designed to provide customers with everything they need during a property move and a checklist is also available to assist customers in organising all aspects of their house move, ensuring nothing is forgotten.

The range of products varies depending on the chosen kit with the starter kit containing single and double wall boxes, allowing you to safely and securely pack heavy and lightweight goods. Bubble wrap is included, to secure any valuable, delicate products during transit, and tape, a marker pen and note pad for labelling and sealing.

The kits for 1, 2/3 and 4 bedroom houses vary slightly in terms of quantity and items and include key products such as heavy duty single wall and double wall boxes – perfect when packing light and heavy items. Wardrobe cartons, ideal for transferring hung clothes straight out of the wardrobe and tape, a marker pen and note pad for securing and labelling up the boxes.

The 4 bedroom kit has three additional items - fragile printed tape, to ensure that any valuable or delicate products are clearly marked as fragile and not damaged by the handler, white news offcuts, to safely package bottles, glassware, ornaments and crockery and a universal tape dispenser to speed up the process of sealing the boxes.

Kites extensive range of additional products that can be used in the removals industry also consists of furniture protection, furniture bags, plastic boxes and bottles for boxes.
