Kite Packaging Rotherham Donate To The Lullaby Trust

The growing company has donated £7,000 to employee-nominated charities  

After introducing its new philanthropy programme across all of its regional branches last year, Kite Packaging has presented cheques to seven charities, totalling £7,000.

With seven sites located across the UK, Kite employees from each area were given the opportunity to nominate a charity to become their ‘Charity of the Year’ as part of the companies CSR agenda. Within each branch, the most nominated charity will receive a £1,000 donation. Each Kite branch also plans to continue fundraising for charities throughout the year, with internal fundraising activities and individual support from employees.

Kite Packaging’s Rotherham branch, were delighted to donate £1,000 in support of The Lullaby Trust. The Lullaby Trust was selected by one of the branch’s employees.

The Lullaby Trust provides specialist support for bereaved families, promotes expert advice on safer baby sleep and raises awareness, they are committed to supporting research to understand why 600 babies a year die suddenly and unexpectedly in the UK and to find out more about how to prevent these tragic deaths.
