New Graduate Programme Launched By Kite Packaging For 2015

By Jake Kirk • Wednesday 15th April 2015

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New Graduate Programme Launched By Kite Packaging For 2015

The packaging business has launched one of the first SME Graduate Development Programmes

Kite Packaging has officially announced that its first ‘Graduate Development Programme’ will be launched this year.

Targeted at impressive individuals looking to ‘Aim High’ after University, the two year Programme will commence in September 2015.

Offering something completely different, as a medium-sized business which is experiencing a great rate of growth, Kite’s Graduate Programme will be run and managed by its Chairman Bruce McInnes and not the HR department!

The 100% employee-owned company will provide Graduates with a chance to experience various aspects of the business, in different locations, on a four month rotational basis. Although a permanent position at Kite is not guaranteed on completion of the Programme, candidates who impress will be fast-tracked into Senior Management positions.

Andy Fay, Managing Partner at Kite, who will be working alongside the Chairman on the Programme, commented: “We are looking for real go-getters, fresh from University with the ambition and talent to succeed in an entrepreneurial, rapidly expanding business like Kite. Our Chairman will be heavily involved in the process, and candidates will be pushed to deliver real results which will help to achieve a number of business aims we have. It is like The Real Graduate Apprentice!”

Kite Packaging are looking to recruit up to six Graduates annually, who will each be supported in a tailored programme designed to give exposure to a wide range of Kite’s functions and activities. Just some of the areas Graduates will experience include sales, marketing, purchasing, logistics and legal compliance.

For each module, candidates will be reporting directly to a Managing Partner at Kite, giving them the opportunity to interface on a very senior level. Kite has eight locations across the UK, and candidates will be expected to move location throughout the two year Programme.

You can visit the ‘Graduates’ section on Kite’s website for more information – https://www.kitepackaging.co.uk/mcp/current-vacancies/

Kite will also be answering Graduates questions on its dedicated Facebook page – www.facebook.com/kitegraduates.
