Our Sittingbourne operation nominated Family Food Bank as their 2020 charity, donating £1,000 in support

Setup in 2012 with help and support of the local community, Family Food Bank help feed families within Ashford, Maidstone, Swale and Thanet; with a vision to work together to give children and families the best opportunities in life.

A spokesperson for the charity commented “We are very thankful to Kite Packaging for their extremely generous donation of £1,000. During this current Coronavirus outbreak, we have seen demand for our services increase drastically and are distributing over 300 food parcels to those very much in need every week. This has been challenging because individual donations have been decreasing which is understandable and we have needed to develop new ways of working to support those social distancing and isolating. Having received £1,000 from Kite Packaging means we will be able to source vital food stocks we need to produce an additional 6,400 meals which will be delivered to the most vulnerable families, individuals, and elderly communities. Thank you again!”
