Moisture Absorbent Pads

Moisture absorbent pads are a simple and effective solution for managing excess moisture in transit caused by condensation, helping to protect both your products and outer packaging. Designed with a blue HDPE top layer and a nonwoven backing, these pads quickly absorb and retain moisture, reducing the risk of leaks, box damage and handling issues.

They are commonly used alongside insulated packaging solutions such as wool liners, paper padded liners, EPS boxes and foil-lined boxes, as well as with coolants like gel packs and ice sheets. By capturing condensation and excess liquid, they help maintain the structural integrity of your outer cartons, preventing weakening, collapse or product damage during shipping.

Available in three sizes, each pad offers reliable absorption performance depending on your requirements:

  • 200 × 230mm – up to 600ml absorption
  • 200 × 300mm – up to 1000ml absorption
  • 200 × 400mm – up to 1500ml absorption

These pads are suitable for a wide range of applications beyond food, making them a versatile addition to any packing process where moisture control is critical.

Used as part of a complete cold chain setup, they complement solutions like insulated liners and our range of coolants by managing the moisture those systems naturally generate during transit. Similarly, when paired with thermal liners, they help maintain both temperature performance and packaging integrity throughout the delivery cycle.
