Screen printed board

Screen printing is a stencil method of print making in which a design is imposed on a screen of polyester or other fine mesh. A number of screens can be used to produce a multi-coloured image or design which makes it ideal for large bold imagery and generally suited for smaller production runs. Unlike Flexo and Litho, screen print does not require pressure as a part of the print process, making it versatile for all types of shapes and substrates and use in a variety of sectors.

Our offering can include…

  • Screen printing on a variety of packaging materials including wood (timber), paper, glass, metal, and plastic
  • Assistance with the artwork, design and layout
  • Mock-up samples where required

Lithographic printed card

Litho printing (lithography) is ideal for high quality volume printing. The image is made of a polymer coating applied to a flexible aluminium plate. Most types of books of high-volume text are printed with offset lithography, making it a great option for fine detail printing on point-of-sale (POS) products.

Our offering can include…

  • Fine detail and excellent print registration on to printed card
  • Litho printing for POS stands and display units, header cards (used individually or with plastic blister packs), printed sleeves and folding box boards (FBB)
  • Expert advice on the many types of paper substrates
  • Assistance with the artwork, design and layout of printed packaging
  • Mock-up samples where required

Digital printing

Digital printing refers to methods of printing from a digital-based image directly to a variety of materials. Digital printing has a higher cost per page than more traditional offset printing methods, but a much shorter turnaround time making it a great solution for ‘one-off’ printing in small volumes to use as mock-ups or prototypes.

Our offering can include…

  • Digital printing for mock-up work and proofing tools for point-of-sale (POS) or point-of-purchase (POP) products
  • Substrate printing using four colour process colours (CMYK) to replicate most print designs
  • Samples for focus groups and marketing departments
