Timber cases and wooden crates
Timber cases (wooden crates) manufactured from 6mm Russian birch plywood.
These crates are designed for use where very heavy duty containers are required.
The strong timber means they are ideal for transporting substantial weights or particularly
delicate products which require robust protection. Our timber cases are happy to
be loaded with several hundred kilos and stacked two or three high in storage, transit
and full export.
Sometimes referred to as tea chests or tea crates, these wooden cases are commonly
used where products are being shipped abroad by sea and are strong enough for you
to be confident that your product will get to the destination in one piece.
The wood in our timber cases is sourced from sustainable sources and is ISPM15 compliant,
meaning it has been heat treated to comply with international import and export
regulations.
All of our wooden crates come flat packed. The walls of each case are hinged, requiring
minimal assembly. Assembly of these wooden crates is very quick and easy with the
option of nailing or screwing the case together. The assembly operation should take
you no more than two minutes from start to finish.
Available either with a flat wooden base or a wooden pallet base.
The sizes in the table are the external dimensions when assembled, including the
base.
